APA Hotel Hakata Gion Ekimae

Good location, apart from the Gion Train Station just in front of the hotel, it takes only 8 mins walk to Hakata Station. There is a lift in the Exit 6 of Gion Train Station. There is a Lawson next to the hotel and you can buy some food anytime you want. Staff is helpful. The room is tidy and clean.

This is in front of a subway station but a 7-minutes walk from Hakata Station. The hotel is located in the main road so expect car horns in the evening. Make sure to close your windows and curtains to filter the noise. Rooms are clean. Spacious rooms are if you're getting twin bed and in the corner. They give free toiletries everyday.

Very clean and very convenient for subway, cafes and reasonably-priced restaurants. Self check-in a tad cumbersome but staff were on hand willing to help complete the process. The hotel is close to many of the temples and shrines in Old Hakata. It is walking distance to Hakata mainline train station and you pass many good cafes along the way. It is also walkable to Canal City for shopping and dining options. The single room booked actually has a double bed which is a bonus. Although room size is rather small, it is as expected of many Fukuoka hotels. It is well designed so that you do not feel cramped after as provision is made for luggage storage under the bed. Rooms are cleaned every 3 days but a new set of linens are provided each day. Will recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at APA Hotel Hakata Gion Ekimae. The hotel location is great, the personnel are polite, and all the amenities have been provided. Price/Quality ratio met my expectations. I marked comfort level as good due to the fact the room is a standard small one suitable for 1 or 2 travelers. Nice choice for those who want to save some money and have a pleasant stay in Fukuoka. Breakfast was great!

Great location right next to Gion station. Rooms are quite small but very well organized. Found a place to put everything. The rooms are set around an open atrium, so lots of fresh air.
